We hope your holiday has been a good one blessed with family all around as ours has.
We had a good two days of gifts, games, food and fun. We had some surprise gifts
during these two days. Our cows found seven newborn calves.
Five black, one gray and one black motley face.
We saw a bunch of new calves running and bouncing across the
pasture with their tails straight up and slightly curved at the top; a sign that
good things have just happened for them, such as a recent dinner.
Our grandsons (Caleb and Jonah) decided the calves should be named after the reindeer that flew over Christmas
Eve. The reindeer names are Dasher, Dancer,
Donder, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Prancer, Vixon, Rudolph.
Santa parked on the roof again this year and left some of the biggest boot tracks I have
ever seen in the fireplace ashes. We forgot to leave out any cookies and milk but
Santa probably had had enough to eat by the time he found Okra, TX.
